I clicked on a couple notifies and got nothing, said no post. I'll bet that is when Danny moved them.  lol! There were at least 45 notifies for me today. That means a hit for everyone that got a hello in mail boxes.  I think what I will have to do is just delete all so if you need my attention you will have to do the @BonBon stuff....Oh ok I'll sit and go thru every notify.

Here on Wednesday. Looking a bit cloudy. Sosed to get to 25 today and then heavy rain for the next 2 days........... Wait and see.

Glad that my back pain has left me. So annoying when you can't get things done.......... I had a huge chores day yesterday - 4 loads of washing to the clothesline, put new garden lights up in the back courtyard, weeded and watered all the plants n the front yard. Lots of housework done but still have to vac and wash floors - sometime today. I ran out of puff by the afternoon yesterday.

Great to see so many flowers in bloom in the front yard. Some things just came up by themselves that weren't weeds!

Hoping everyone is having a great day. Hairdresser tomorrow so may not make it in to check in.

Take care everyone.

Friday afternoon on a very wet windy day. We need the rain so not complaining. Been a good day for watching a bit of TV and doing some PSP. I don't get a lot of time for PSP lately.

Not a good night. Need to get Wil to bed before midnight. I have to hook him up with that new CPAP. Out to recliner with unusual leg pain for me. Didn't feel like a cramp but still as painful. I didn't hear Wil get up but at 6 a.m. I see the darn cpap off!   Now how do I explain to him we may end up paying for something he isn't using?  Plus I don't know where the paperwork copies are I signed.  sigh...

Sorry about you leg pain, Bonnie, and good luck with that CPAP, it must be very confusing for Wil when he wakes up.

Today starts off with moving Pook away from his cage so I could clean it. Guess he could see enough to know it wasn't there. Took him awhile to go back on it when I finished.  Watched some tv hopped in shower and did a couple tuts and that is all I've done. Oh I did clean bathroom sink and once Wil shaves tonight that will take care of that chore. Wil even made the bed.  lol!

We are having thunderstorms. All week it was hot and muggy ,my edema in my legs suffered from that and I had to stay off the computer for a few days. My son and DIL are in Australia right now. His third time and her first. They just sent photos from the arrival in Sidney . Their  itinerary takes them to Perth and the famous Red Rock later.
They start out in Avalon Beach.  . Maybe Jacki knows where that is.In her post she says its raining.
My sciatica nerve that gave me so much pain lately, has gone to sleep. Two days without bothering me, the spine problem is tolerable too. . I don't like using the walker but some days I just cant do without.
Eve,I wish I could have Pumpkin Pies ,mine would have to be gluten free. Gluten really messes with my brain and makes me feel bloated.
I will check for this week's homework. Missed out last week and noticed I am totally useless with masks. Guess that part of my brain has shut down.
Have a happy new week.***Margie.

We had a lovely weekend. My daughter and her wife hosted dinner for both families and some close friends. There was 20 at the dinner table. They did a great job and dinner was wonderful, my daughter is a very good cook.

It's been cool and overcast the whole weekend but it is supposed to get very hot for the next 2 days. The trees are just starting to turn and flowers are starting to disappear. Fall is on its way.

I hope your family enjoyed those pumpkin pies, Eve, we enjoyed our's yesterday.

I'd say you did plenty, Bonnie, and way to go Wil. I hope you got your Insurance issues sorted.

Hi Danny and Kimi.

Sorry you had to stay off the computer for a while, Margie, but glad your sciatica nerve  pain is sleeping and the spine problem is tolerable.
Masks are not easy, it took me a long time to grasp the concept, so don't give up. One thing to remember is they are not all the same, some need to have Invert ticked, and some don't.

Sounds like you had a lovely Thanksgiving, Windy, as we did. The weather was something else yesterday for sure. Started out cold, then the sun came out and it was nice till around 4pm, then it cooled off big time and became very foggy.

Today and tomorrow going to be 27c, way above normal for this time of year, summer still not giving up, lol.

Hi Margie, it sure sounds like it's a stay put day for you.

It is unreal the snow they are getting out west, Eve, when here in Ontario we had way above normal temps for this time of the year yesterday 28c/36c with the humidex, and only slightly cooler today.

Wishing all who pop in a good day.

I have 3 people all in bed very sick in my house. It is one very nasty flu. So far I haven't caught it but if I disappear for a bit you will know where I am. It started with my son at the beginning of the week, 2 days later his girlfriend got it and today it hit hubby.

It was a bright sunny day today but very chilly. Almost winter coat weather.

Oh my, Windy, hang in there.

Kind of a miserable day here, overcast, rainy, windy, and cold. I do believe summer has finally given up on us. Supposed to be around 10/11c all week.

Re: Check In and Chat

Post by JACKIJ02 on Tue Oct 16 2018, 15:47

Morning all. Wednesday and will probably get out for a bit today.  I am not fond of being housebound for to many days.

Thankfully we are having a bit of sunshine after weeks of rain and I have been able to get washing out onto the line.  I hate using a clothes dryer - I reckon it wrecks your clothes with constant use.

We got out and about last week.  We went out for dinner on Thursday evening and to the movies and for lunch on Sunday.

Housework is always here to be done. I got rid of the back pain that I was suffering for a couple of weeks...... now I am hobbling around with pain in my left knee........ what an old crock!!! Rolling Eyes  Hate not being able to get moving and do what I want to with aches and pains.  Comes with age for sure. I am teetering on the top of the hill trying not to roll down the other side......... Arrow

Hoping that you avoid that flu bug Windy.  You don't have the flu jab?  I have it before winter every year now.  A quick needle jab is so much better than being bedridden with a bad flu bug.

How are you going Margie?  I hope all your ailments are not giving you grief.
I expect the hot weather is easing off now and you are getting some more pleasant weather.

Hoping all is well with you Joanne.  Spose you won't be out on that deck for much longer as winter moves back in in your part of Canada.

Has there been any updated news re Bonnie?  The poor Love. I do hope that she is improving each day so that we can hear from her again soon.

I expect that our Canadian and US members are getting ready for Halloween, and then Thanksgiving celebrations.

Our next one in Aussie will be Christmas....... ug the expense of it!  I really don't appreciate those who have to tell us how many days and hours there are to go.  Especially when Christmas shopping and $ comes into it........... Laughing

I will be heading down to Sydney for a small family gathering.

I have my club meting tomorrow and am looking forward to sitting down afterwards for lunch and getting to know the new members.
It has been a chore on the committee to get it up and running,  We do So much behind the scenes while the others just turn up to enjoy the days that we meet.   But some of us have to do that Hard Yakka to get things going. It will be worth it when it all runs like clockwork.

Waving a hello to Eve, Danny, Pam, Honor and all calling into the group today

Be safe, have fun and cheers to you all.

Greetings to all. We are having rain, rain ,and more rain. It is coming down day and night for almost a week now. Lakes and rivers are overflowing. Temperatures are 7.2 degrees Celsius. Cold and nasty. Yesterday lightening hit one of our internet providers and there was no connection all day .
I must have missed a few posts because I don't know anything about Bonnie's absence and what happened to her. I hope she is well. Also, Kimi, I found some tags you made for me and thank you so much .
Joanne, if that weather is as wet and cold were you are I guess we all can expect an early winter ,but maybe a turn about will surprise us all. Right now our weather man said it has not been so wet and cold so early in our part of Texas since 80 some years ago.
Windy, are you feeling any better ? I heard on the news that Canada made cannabis legal. A prescription for depression is supposed to work better than the regular pharmacy stuff, which sometimes makes one  feel even worse. The flu has hit your family early. Did you ever take the shot for it. Last year they only guessed at the strain and it was just 36 % covered. I never took a flu shot and lucked out each year ,but I may me pressing my luck, since ageing has a way of weakening the immune system. I do take oodles of subliments which might or might not help.
My son and wife are enjoying their stay in Australia. They toured a lot of places and are finishing in Sidney, coming home this weekend. They always book air b@b and staying at family rentals.
Something else is disturbing news. Children around the age of four years old are getting a mysterious illness, some sort of paralysis which has the medical system puzzled.
To all of you,. have a healthy and happy new week.***Margie.
